Their Narrative and Their Scandals

Those in the liberal media have been selling their narrative for over half a century. We are, in fact, going on a third successive generation of Americans inundated with the following message:

Democrats are wise, caring, moral, trying to do the right thing, looking out for women, the poor, the underprivileged, and the working-class; promoting Democrats (i.e. liberals) as thoughtful, intelligent and essentially good. Republicans, on the other hand, are simplistic, morally compromised, looking out for the rich and powerful, dismissive of women, the underprivileged and the working-class; suggesting Republicans (i.e. conservatives) are simple-minded, cynical and essentially immoral.

Case in point: scandals. Those involving Democrats are reported by liberal media as procedural matters, as little more than Democrats being put upon, and the American people distracted, by the cynical maneuverings of Republican politicians. By contrast, Republican scandals are reported as substantive, as instances of significant wrongdoing that Democrats and the media must legitimately attempt to uncover, on behalf of the American people.

Consider the manner in which the Liberal Media Complex have downplayed Hillary Clinton’s improper, indeed felonious, mishandling of classified material; as opposed to their breathless promotion of the ongoing ‘Russian collusion’ meme, a purported scandal with no underlying crime.

America’s media culture is corrupt, entrenched and massive. And big ships turn slowly. The more Americans tire of the unreal left-wing narrative, the more they seek alternative sources of news and information — leaving a ship that may simply be incapable of righting itself.

Today’s Big Story: An Inconsequential Sequel

There is little interest, it seems, in yet another pompous, on-screen lecture about largely unsubstantiated climate change hysteria. And so, few are lining up to see Gore’s movie.

The longer lines are the ones to get into Trump rallies.

Today’s Big Story: Is It the End of the World … As We’ve Known It?

Today’s big story concerns ever ‘advancing’ technology.

Will the merging of digital construct with organic matter enhance the quality of our lives? Or will it make them less ours?

This insertion of tiny computer chips inside human bodies may seem a small development, relatively uneventful. However, a child’s first steps are small ones, and hardly resemble those that will come later.
